Here's a prayer request update
Thanks for praying—God is answering your
prayers!
- Praise God that 3 of the 4 Japanese adults baptized on Sept. 27 have already shared during the Sunday service about God's work in their lives. Last Sunday Mr. Y said, "I really need Jesus...I would like to live every day accountable before God and keep remembering that every day is God's day."
- Praise God that Kim's students continue to connect what they study and what the Bible teaches. On a recent test on Cry, the Beloved Country, one student wrote, "God gives hope to those who have none. Because of the hope, some broken things can become new.”
- Praise God for providing a network of Christian educators for Michael to talk regularly with about developing Biblical perspective curriculum. Michael talks with educators in Bolivia, Canada, Germany, Japan, and the US.
- Praise God for providing travel safety and a good visit for Kim/Caitlin. Says Kim, "It was great to spend time with Caitlin and to meet her friends. Hope I get through jet lag quickly!"
- Ask God to help Kim provide effective leadership as she serves as English Dept. chair. Kim helps English teachers with developing curriculum and teaching from a Biblical perspective.
- Ask God to help Michael effectively lead a productivity workshop for missionaries on 10/31 and a Biblical perspective workshop for CAJ teachers on 11/3.
